Issues

• In recent years political beliefs have been influencing learning in our schools, it’s time to bring it back to the basics and let kids be kids without infringing on parental, student, and teacher rights.
• In the past we have had people join the school board while they have children in the district to change one issue to suit them. I do not have children in the district, as a graduate of our school system I want to help guide our district back towards its core values. I want what is in the best interest of all stakeholders especially students, since I plan on raising a family in our district and community in the future.
• Parents have brought up many times in recent years about the lack of communication on behalf of our school board. I will fight everyday if elected to change that, transparency is essential within our school system to help parents and staff create the best learning environment possible.
• If elected in response to concerns about the lack of correspondence in our district, I vow to make myself available for any issues or concerns that anyone may have, and will try to rectify them promptly.
• In the past we have relied on people who have become accustomed to a specific way of operating that many things are replicated, this in many cases leads to stagnation. With a fresh perspective we can return the Clarkstown Central School District to the premier education system it once was.
